When I grow up...

I want to have a grown up house. I've been a bit 'meh' about how my house is 'decorated' lately. I think I want it to be more sophisticated. I want to keep the whole 'white and colour' thing going but I want it a bit more, well.... like this place. This place is perfection. I think I'd struggle keeping it all looking this clean and white but gosh it is beautiful. I can't tell you much about it because I can't read Swedish, but I think the pics speak for themselves.

Some things never change...

Turning Two

Do you remember this beautiful birthday and the fabulousness that was the icecream cone cake? Well Linda has been at it again for her Riley's second birthday. How fabulous is her dessert table and the delicious bear cupcakes?

I love the red and while colour scheme - I think it could work equally well for a little boy or girl. Linda bought the cool retro red stripe paper straws from Brown Button Trading, how good do they look?

The highest of teas.

I never win anything. Probably because I never enter anything. Never bought a lottery ticket. Ever. Wouldn't know how. But when I saw this giveaway over at Charlotta's blog I had to comment. And I won! Whoop! I received this darling book in the mail and I have flicked through it many times since. Unfortunately I am yet to bake from it, life is ridiculously crazy at the moment, the most I have 'cooked' in recent weeks is eating ice cream from a coffee mug for dinner (disgraceful I know!)

BUT - what am I planning to cook when I have a spare five minutes? can't go past the white chocolate scones, and the savoury recipes look amazing - roast tomato, zucchini, parmesan and feta muffins? get out!!

I''m back. And it was amazing.

Very tired and so much to catch up on. But wanted to drop in and say 'hi'. This is me. In a Cabana. By the beach after being out on a jet ski (hilarious). The people, food, shopping, scenery, the bonds made? I have had a magical time. Will share more soon. xoxo

Here.... and gone again....

Back from Melbourne, now I'm off overseas. I didn't even put the suitcase away, but did have to change its contents - from the freezing cold (but incredibly fun) Melbourne to the balmy heat of Asia I'm a busy little button! Team bonding for a week overseas, me likey my day job. catch you next week!

Roll up, roll up

As Emma would say, I'm 'turbo excited' - I'm off to the trade fairs...... finally! I have had my little shop since May of last year and yet this will be my first experience at the fairs. I was hoping to go to the Sydney ones at the start of the year, but ironically I ended up in Sydney for my 'day job' so no time to shop for the shop.

I'll be in Melbourne for five days, including the weekend when I'll be helping some very dear friends celebrate their 30th birthdays. 'Turbo excited'? a total understatement..

Now, to finish an assignment (yes i'm studying again...), tie up loose ends at my 'day job', pack my bags and get some fabulous candy jar table decorations for a function on the weekend finished before I go. Yikes!

I promise to report back on my adventures. Til then...... xxx
