Hey Mike here! And I'm going to share some cool shaman leveling tips with you, before I do that I should mention that this shaman leveling guide is mainly aimed at beginners. But before we get to the shaman guide I wanted to talk a little bit about this awesome leveling guide I've been using. Watch the videos here to learn more. It's the very same leveling guide that got my shaman to level 80 in just under 8 days! It's an addon for wow and you can download it here. Ok, here's the basic shaman guide and super cool tips you can?? use to improve your game.

#1 Shaman Leveling Guide: Totems!

An inportant part of shaman leveling are your totems, they set your shaman apart from other wow classes, these totems can be very useful when dropped one by one, you'll discover many different combination’s that can have a catastrophic effects on your enemies. For example, if you're fighting more than one monster, you could try combination of Stone Skin and Searing, and see what happens.

#2 Shaman Leveling Guide: Your Inner Wolf!

When you get your shaman to level 20, you will get what's called your Ghost Wolf form, and this is when the world opens up to you. This increases your shamans speed by 40%, now you'll also have an effective bite attack and a lower visibility to other players. This can be very useful when playing on a PVP sever.

#3 Shaman Leveling Guide: The Talent Tree!

A shaman has 3 different talent trees, and each one is for a different role your shaman can take on. If you're on your own and not playing in a group then you should focus on Enhancement, doing this will put you in par with the rouge in terms of melee. If you start putting you're points into Restoration you can become a priest-like healer, and if you decide to focus on Elemental you're shaman will become mage-like.

#4 Shaman Leveling Guide: DO NOT Tank!

Its best to leave tanking to the warriors, a shaman tends to lack the close combat abilities of the warrior. You'll also find that your shaman can't handle the aggro no where near as well as the warrior can. Remember, tanking is not your specialty, even though your shaman can take a lot of damage, tanking is still not your specialty.

#5 Shaman Leveling Guide: Leatherworking, DO IT!

Until your shaman gets to level 40 you're stuck with leather armor, Leatherworking can benefit your shaman in many ways, for a start it can be done anywhere and the results are extremely rewarding. Tip, try to focus on Dragonscale Leatherworking whenever possible.

As you can see there's a lot to consider when leveling a shaman. So if you want a more advanced shaman leveling guide then check out this super awesome wow guide. Its the very same guide I’ve used to level 2 wow characters to level 80, if you find you spend to much time doing junk quests that yield no exp, that guide will really help.
